At Amejtrading, we believe that financial empowerment is not a luxury — it's a necessity. That’s why we were honored to speak at TEDx Ekpoma (TEDxEKP) — a dynamic gathering of young innovators, thought leaders, and change-makers in Ekpoma, Nigeria.

As a company that has been at the forefront of forex education and financial trading services in Nigeria for over 14 years, our mission has always been clear: to teach Africans how to take control of their financial future using global trading platforms, tools, and strategies.

Why TEDxEKP Mattered

TEDx events are known for bringing bold ideas to local communities — and TEDxEKP was no different. From conversations about leadership and innovation to discussions on sustainability and tech, the event was packed with energy.

But what stood out most for us was the audience: young Nigerians eager to learn, unlearn, and evolve — students, creators, future entrepreneurs. That’s the heartbeat of our vision at Amejtrading.

We saw this as more than a speaking opportunity — it was a call to action. Because if there’s one thing we know for sure, it’s this:

During our session, we focused on breaking down the myths around forex trading. Too often, it’s seen as a get-rich-quick scheme or something only financial experts can understand. At Amejtrading, we teach the opposite.

Here’s what we shared with the TEDxEKP audience:

• Trading is a skill. Just like coding or digital marketing, it can be learned with the right mentorship and tools.
